Responsibilities:
Heavy React + Redux development. In-depth Typescript experience
Three.js/WebGL and React-Three-Fiber framework development experience
Apollo Client / GraphQL working knowledge is important
CSS knowledge is also important.
Node.js experience
Expectation of knowledge beyond application development; we need somebody who won't shy away from infrastructure issues as well. The candidate will expect to either know or ramp up quickly in areas such as Gitlab pipelines, relevant AWS services (S3, Cloudfront, etc.), webpack, code splitting, Sentry, etc.
Web performance, monitoring, server-side rendering, and accessibility are all areas of focus for this team. These can all be taught, but previous experience in at least some if not all of these areas is ideal.
Our various levels of tests are written primarily in Cypress / Playwright.

Mandatory Skills:
Deep JavaScript knowledge and hands on experience with React and Redux.
GraphQL, Computer Graphics, Three.js, React-Three-Fiber
Strong knowledge of HTTP basics. Caching, response codes, headers, cookies, sessions.
Strong CSS knowledge. Not necessary to have every rule memorized, but enough to be able to layout a page, use and customize component libraries, and discuss media queries, flex vs grid, etc.
Team leadership and mentoring skills. This is a core expectation for a Senior level position.
Ability to include and work closely with other engineers and other disciplines, most notably individuals in BE roles, product, and design.
Nice to have:
Experience with GLSL shaders - Custom rendering effects
Experience Computer graphics theory - Advanced 3D concepts
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Kafka and Flink
Experience with MS SQL Server
Experience with Git
