Motivational and competency based phone interview. Lasted around 40 minutes. Started off with official talk about how money would be paid, dates of the internship etc. Then moved onto motivational questions about 'why santander', 'why HR', 'what does HR involve'. All the standard stuff. You have to answer using the STAR technique in the competency part, which is where it gets much harder. Hardest questions were to do with customer service, and undertaking a task with not guidelines. Said I'd hear back within 5 working days- still haven't heard back.
