I applied online and was contacted about 45 days later. The first interview was a telephone interview with the department director. The interview was about 45 minutes and it covered a description of the job followed by questions about my skills, experience and accomplishments. I was contacted for a second interview with a department manager the next day. I spoke with the department manager 2 days later. Her questions were more along the line of my work habits, collaboration experience and generally questions about fitting into the group. About 10 days later, the department manager contacted me by telephone to inform me that I ranked second and that he would keep my resume on file.
