The interview at IBM was a great experience overall. The process started with an initial HR screen where I was asked about my background, skills, and motivations for wanting to join IBM. In the same interview, I had the chance to showcase my problem-solving abilities. The interviewer walked me through a few scenarios, which I found challenging but manageable. Lastly, the interviewer asked more behavioural questions, focusing on teamwork, adaptability, and how I handle project deadlines. I appreciated their emphasis on a collaborative work environment and opportunities for growth.

Describe a situation where you faced conflict within a team. How did you handle it, and what was the outcome?
Der Bewerbungsprozess war insgesamt fair und gut strukturiert. Es gab zwei Online-Interviews: In einem lag der Fokus klar auf fachlich-technischen Fragen, die sehr zielgerichtet auf den jeweiligen Fachbereich abgestimmt waren. Im zweiten Gespräch ging es stärker um die Persönlichkeit, die Zusammenarbeit im Team und den generellen kulturellen Fit.
Die Fragen waren nachvollziehbar, transparent und angemessen anspruchsvoll. Besonders positiv fand ich, dass die fachlichen Themen realitätsnah und relevant für die ausgeschriebene Position waren.
Am Ende habe ich eine Zusage erhalten, auch wenn ich diese letztlich knapp angenommen habe. Insgesamt ein professioneller, respektvoller und fairer Bewerbungsprozess.
