Entrevista
The technical interview was 1.5 hours.
It was my first interview (there was no HR interview/recruiter call, just an Aon online accessesment) for the role and it was a combination of system design and coding questions.
There were 2 interviewers, but only one of them was speaking and the other was completely silent. Both of them didnt showed their faces on video at all. They started off directly introducing about the current opening without us introducing each other.
The interviewer seems underprepared for their questions. The sytem design was just short questions regarding certain topics, we didnt design a complete framework. The coding interview was the weirdest where I was just given a question (with no walk through), and was left alone for 10 minutes (was expecting that i had to talk through my thought process, edge cases, explain complexity,etc).
Question was one of the easiest problems (maybe easy array question on leet code) and i solved in 5+mins, which was unexpected for a senior role.
I was then given a coding assignment on python and will be evaluated based on bug fixes and code structure.

The interview process is more straight. They look for more technical especially in the embedded SW domain.

First part of the interviews was very focused on my technical skills, especially on C language, bit manipulation and code efficiency. The second part of the interviews was more about soft skills and my previous experience and achievements. I should mention that I was moving from one BA to another inside Continental.

The interview process began with an online Teams call with HR, covering topics like professional background, career goals, and role expectations. This was followed by a comprehensive technical interview, delving into technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, project experience, and domain-specific knowledge. The technical discussion included practical scenarios, testing coding skills, system design understanding, and approaches to debugging or optimizing workflows. Both sessions provided opportunities for questions, ensuring alignment between my skill set and the role’s requirements.
