United Workforce Solutions is seeking experienced Epic Tapestry Test Engineers and QA Analysts to support a confidential U.S. healthcare client on a large-scale healthcare transformation initiative. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for professionals with healthcare QA experience who are passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions within payer and healthcare environments.
In this role, you will collaborate with U.S.-based business and technical teams to validate healthcare workflows, execute comprehensive testing strategies, identify defects, and ensure successful application delivery across Epic Tapestry and related healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, review, and execute test cases for Epic Tapestry and healthcare application workflows.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, user acceptance (UAT), and production validation testing.
- Validate workflows related to:
- Claims
- Eligibility
- Enrollment
- Benefits
- Provider Management
- Authorizations
- Referrals
- Utilization Management
- Revenue Cycle
- EDI transactions
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios, scripts, and expected outcomes.
- Document testing evidence, defects, retesting activities, and testing sign-offs.
- Track defects and testing progress using Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, HP ALM, Excel, or similar testing tools.
- Participate in defect triage meetings and communicate issues effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Perform SQL validation, data validation, reporting validation, and EDI/X12 validation where applicable.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Epic Application Coordinators, Developers, QA Leads, and client stakeholders.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation while identifying and escalating testing risks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of QA or software testing experience supporting:
- Healthcare IT
- Epic applications
- Healthcare payer systems
- Hospital systems
- Claims platforms
- Enterprise healthcare applications
- Experience creating, executing, and documenting test cases.
- Strong understanding of:
- Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Regression Testing
- Defect Tracking
- Retesting processes
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience using one or more of the following:
- Jira
- Azure DevOps
- ServiceNow
- HP ALM
- Zephyr
- TestRail
- Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work during overlapping U.S. business hours.

- Executes predefined test scripts
- Documents testing evidence under QA Lead supervision
Intermediate QA Analyst
- 3-5 years of QA/UAT experience
- Creates test scenarios
- Manages defects through the complete testing lifecycle
- Works independently with U.S. QA teams
Senior QA Analyst
- 5+ years supporting healthcare QA initiatives
- Extensive Epic or healthcare payer testing experience
- Supports complex testing efforts and mentoring activities
Expert QA/Test Lead
- 8+ years leading enterprise healthcare testing programs
- Develops testing strategies
- Supports QA governance, leadership, and client engagement
