At Kent, we've been at the heart of the offshore wind revolution for over 20 years, delivering top-notch technical solutions to make offshore wind a mainstream renewable energy source. The Baltic Eagle Offshore Wind Farm is an exciting example of our leadership in the industry. Situated in the German Exclusive Economic Zone within the Baltic Sea, this project consists of 60 turbines, ranging 8MW and 12MW WTGs, spanning over an area of 36km2 and is 31km from shore, with a capacity of 476MW. At the location of the offshore substation, the water depth is 42.5m We’ve supported Iberdrola with the concept selection of the OSS topsides, jacket and piled foundations, completed the conceptual design for Bundesamt für Seeschifffahrt und Hydrographie 1 (BSH)'s first release, and developed the contracting design for BSH's second release.
Is the energy industry ready for the cyber threats of the digital age? 🌐🔒 In the energy industry, merging IT and OT brings incredible innovation and efficiency.
