I was contacted through a hiring site. First call was a screen with a recruiter. He was very kind and we both decided this would be a good fit. Then I had a technical screen with an engineer. Pretty difficult problem but I really enjoyed that it was more of a collaborative interview. I got feedback in a few days that I did well and that I would move on to the final interview. The onsite was difficult but fair. 2 technical rounds + 1 system design + 1 hiring manager + 1 culture fit. I got a good understanding of the position and everyone got a good idea of my strengths. I had a follow up a few days later with the recruiter. I was told that they thought I would be a better fit on another team. I had two additional interviews with the other team. It was a great fit and I had an offer extended. Overall, everyone was extremely communicative and seemed to be genuinely interested in finding the best fit for me and the company. I can't recommend this process enough.
