After application, I got back from a HR from US advising about how much they're paying for the role and if i still wanted to proceed. Below average pay. That was the first red flag. they want someone with multiple skills but put an associate title with below average pay. The HR asked if i come one site for interview. Asked her if remote is possible instead. Still went for an interview on site (second red flag). the HR herself joined remotely when i went onsite. i could sense hesitation after i said my salary expectations which was only 80k BTW. a week later, got a rejection email and their job listing is still up there.

I had a brief screening call with their US based recruiters, before meeting with the hiring manager and other team members, and finally meeting with the hiring manager and a senior leader. All interviews were conducted remotely.
