Tips for the E-tray
First part - have an inbox with 24 emails and have to select the best option out of a choice of 4-5 options. I think you had 50 minutes for this.
1. Very quickly read through all the information and make sure you understand who is who. It helps prevent you from making silly mistakes
2. Accuracy is more important than speed in this exercise. That said make sure you that you do not leave more than 2 questions unanswered. And do not guess.
Second part - have an inbox with 2 emails and have to respond providing recommendations.
3. Spend no more than 5 minutes deciding what you want to do.
4. Spelling, Spelling, Spelling - do not make a mistake and ensure you check you emails for mistakes.
Interview Questions
Company A wants to implement a new software package for their online website. Write an email advising them on the best choice for their system.
Restrictions were total costs had to be below a certain amount and there was a 10% cost on top of each system.
You were given 2 information sheets.
One which had research on what clients want in the system.
The other had figures on costs to implement the system and also had the company's performance compared to its competitors in their online system
