Recruiter contacted me. Initially set up information interviews. For the actual positions, 2 team interviews, consisting of 2 separate meeting dates. Overall a great couple of conversations.

Drove into the office for the interview. Met with 2 juniors and the hiring manager. Basic questions. No tests. Basically a personality fit assessment. Discussed the position a bit but pretty straightforward.

Recruiters can’t be bothered to speak with candidates it seems… after bots likely select people, they actually tell experienced (not entry level) candidates to go to a website and record videos of themselves + write mini essay question answers as an interview with your computer screen. It’s completely impersonal and lazy.
And then after you get rejected from {a pretty extensive} interview with the hiring manager, they are unable to provide any actual feedback and just copy/paste emails without even deleting the part that isn’t relevant to you.
Why even have recruiters? What part are they doing?
