Entrevista
I interviewed with the Director of Customer Success first, then the SVP , Customer Success, and for the third round spoke with the Director of Customer Success again. I had a wonderful experience. Both were kind, gracious, and supportive, and genuinely listened to what I had to say.
The job seemed amazing, as well as the people. I would have loved to work there. The only reason I didn't is because I had a job offer from a startup in an industry I was well-versed in that expired the day before I was given a verbal offer at Validity. I chose to go with the startup because of my industry experience and the opportunity to build my own Customer Success Department there, but if I didn't have that offer, I would have been honored to work at Validity.

Tell me about a situation at your last company where you feel the process did not go well, and what did you do to help change it?

I had an overall pleasant interview experience with Validity. From the very beginning, the VP was incredibly kind and open to having a genuine conversation rather than conducting a run-of-the-mill interview. After the first interview, I moved on to the case study round, where I presented to both the VP and the Director. They were engaged throughout the presentation and asked thoughtful questions.
Although I felt the presentation went relatively well, they ultimately decided to move forward with a candidate who had more tenure at previous companies and more experience in this particular role. Even so, the process was an enjoyable experience overall, which is a testament to the team and the work environment they’ve built.

After submitting a resume I was contacted via email by HR saying they would like to schedule a Zoom call interview. The interview took place on 11/15, just before Thanksgiving and appeared to go well, with the manager bringing up what to expect for next steps. The hiring manager told me she would probably not make decisions about next steps until after the holiday. On 11/28, after the Holiday I reached back out to the hiring manager and received zero response. The company has since re-posted the position (I was told during the interview they were looking to hire multiple CSM's)
