Recruiter called me and set up a time for a phone interview. Same recruiter called during the set time and that lasted about a 1/2 hour. He asked me some basic questions about my past job, my skills, what I know about Starbucks, and what I wanted to get paid. A week later I was called back for a face-to-face interview with a panel The interview process took three hours. First with a panel for an hour, then another hour with folks from the goup, and then finally with the person I was supposed to work for (the direct supervisor). I have to say it wa s enjoyable and nice to meet folks you are supposed to work with and the recruiter was fabulous. I give Starbucks interview process a five star rating. They did not make me feel uncomfortable at any time.
