El proceso tomó 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en Starbucks (Los Angeles, CA) en sep 2011
Entrevista
I was definitely interviewed by the hipster barista stereotype. He did not seem to like the fact that I had work experience, and my college degree almost seemed like a deal breaker to him. It was very unprofessional.
After the 1:1 interview, I waited about an hour with others for a small group interview. This seemed to go much better and everyone had a chance to talk.
There's not a whole lot of jobs out there in this downturn economy, and I didn't really appreciate the insinuations that education and work experience are a bad thing.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
