The recruiter and hiring manager were the first 2 contact points and they clearly knew their areas. The remaining interview process is a challenge to say the least. While it's understandable in the age of COVID that things will be different, spreading later round interviews to multi-day Zoom calls was pretty unprofessional. If there were no COVID and the later round(s) with 5-7 folks were onsite, have you EVER heard of a multi-day process? Additionally, a majority of the non-hiring manager panel asked questions where I still to this day wonder what it had to do with the actual job in question. A good portion of the panel seemed to inquire whether you understood their area, or if you could answer the hot tech topic of the day questions. In sum, a bunch of bright, pedigreed technologists... financial experts, not so much so.
