Manager spent a ton of time describing the team and and the project in great detail, I really enjoyed it. 2. Recruiter reached via email out asking about available and expectation. 3 On-site round with the team. The team is great and it seemed to be a great cultural fit. Offer received two days after the on-site. Total compensation was 70k below what I asked for. Recruiter kept offering alternative benefits but made refused to match me for the expected salary number. I ended up accepting an offer from another company that offered what I asked for.
