Had a horrible experience interviewing for microsoft for SSE role at bangalore location. Got rejected post HR screen round only. Didn't have much to discuss, basic current team and project related discussion and a basic DS algo question. Didn't receive any feedback from HR as well.

I went through a Microsoft hiring drive and the experience after interviews was extremely disappointing. Once the interviews were done, there was complete silence—no update, no rejection, nothing. Even after multiple follow-ups asking for a simple yes/no, there was no response. Candidates put in significant time and effort preparing for these rounds, and the lack of even basic communication feels disrespectful. Not expecting detailed feedback, just a simple closure. For a company like Microsoft, this level of candidate experience is honestly surprising and unacceptable.
