You will want to walk in knowing exactly what the position you are applying for does. Obviously you are expected to be able to show them that you have a good understanding of how macroeconomics work as well, i showed them this through my stock pitch and explaining how the current market conditions would effect my returns.

Interviewed for over a year total. 12+ interviews. Asset managers are great, but HR is awful. Very bureaucratic and unforgiving. Pros: Strong reputation as the largest AUM firm, great, salary and benefits, perks, etc. Cons: The people who hire you are not the ones who will be working with you... this is very flawed and leads to miscommunication and disorganization. On-boarding and pre-employment teams are rude and unprofessional.
