5 rounds including a round where I was asked to prepare a presentation describing my experience. 2 coding rounds, 2 technical interview rounds both broadly related to Machine Learning, discussing ML concepts from math, stats and fundamentals perspective, as well as how these computations are vectorized.

Phone call interview and no reply from the company. Waited for 3 months for their reply. Didn't even get to know if I am rejected. Not so good experience with the company

Applied through employee referral. I had 2 technical rounds. I passed both of them and I was offered internship at Intel (Bangalore, India) within the interview day only. However, after 1-2 weeks, I got an email from HR that they cannot consider my application as my university in which I'm currently studying is not preferred by Intel. Seriously? Intel are you looking for talent or selecting students on the basis of just university name? I tried to contact Intel HR department of Bangalore, India but they are so lazy and unprofessional. None of them replied me on LinkedIn. It's really sad to see such a big company working unprofessionally. They would have just did my background check of my university before taking my interview. It doesn't make any sense after interviewing and rejecting candidate on the basis of his/her university. The interview process wasted my time as well as interviewer time as well.
