Entrevista
As an engineer interviewing potential candidates for hire, the process usually starts with a phone screen. After that, candidates are brought in an interviewed by 4-6 engineers across a variety of disciplines/specialties. There will almost always be representatives from computer architecture, hardware verification, and design. Each interviewer will concentrate on their area of domain expertise and drill down on resume items and for general knowledge.
After interviews are complete, the panel convenes and provides round table feedback on the candidate and each interviewer concludes with a no hire / hire / strong hire recommendation. The hiring manager then takes this input into consideration while working with HR to finalize the yes/no process.

Five engineers, a manager and director asked medium level engineering and architecture questions including proof of structured coding and design skills. Each interviewer had varying questions. They rated at 0 (won’t work with candidate), 1 (adequate) or 2 (exceptional hire) for a team survey of votes to compare multiple candidates.
