The interview process at Google for the Data Scientist role was thorough and challenging, but ultimately rewarding. The initial screening with the recruiter was smooth and informative, setting clear expectations. The technical phone screen required me to demonstrate my coding skills and knowledge of data science concepts, which went well.
The onsite interviews were intense, with a mix of technical and behavioral questions. I enjoyed solving the algorithm and machine learning problems, and the interviewers were very professional and supportive. The behavioral interviews gave me a chance to discuss my past projects and how I approach problem-solving, which I believe highlighted my strengths well.
Overall, the interviewers created a welcoming environment, and I felt confident in my ability to showcase my skills. I'm hopeful and excited about the opportunity to contribute to Google's innovative data science projects.

Can you describe how you would approach building a predictive model for user engagement on a new feature within our platform? Please walk through the steps, from data collection to model evaluation.
In the technical round, I faced a challenging A/B testing question regarding YouTube thumbnails that pushed my analytical skills. I was also asked to discuss metrics for evaluating user engagement, which had me thinking on my feet. The behavioral section was tough, but I found the principles I studied on PracHub to be incredibly relevant. The overall experience was intense and demanding, yet I received an offer in the end. Ultimately, I decided to decline, as I felt it wasn't the right fit for my career goals.

It was all good, the interviewer was very nice. Technical questions were a bit challenging but overall it was good. The hiring manager was looking for some hands on experience

Entrevista
Got email from the HR and scheduled 2 virtual onsite interviews. It went well. I went through another 3 rounds of VO. My packet was submitted to the committee. They do not like it and gave me another round of VO. In the 6th round VO, my application got rejected. It was a total waste of time for everyone.
