I clarified with the interviewer whether the goal was to generate real dictionary words, or just arbitrary strings that looked like words. They were flexible, so I focused on writing clean, well-structured code with comments and explained edge cases.

This was a mock behavioral interview in which I received feedback immediately afterward. The interviewer was a long time data science team lead at Google. She told me that while my experiences were rich, I was lacking coherent responses. Thus, she advised that I practice additional behavioral-style questions, following the STAR method, and focus on answering questions in a way that clearly shows thought processes.
