PATHETIC EXPERIENCE - I received a call from the recruiter on April 4th 2022. I took a month's time to prepare and gave all 5 interviews The recruiter called me on May 25th 2022 to arrange a FIT CALL with the manager who liked my performance in the interviews. I was glad to understand the roles and responsibilities of the team and expressed my interest to join the team. I called the recruiter to know that the manager is positive about hiring me. My packet was then sent to the Hiring Committee and the thought of the same got me to celebration mood. I received a mail where I had to fill in details like my last working day,my notice period,my expected CTC etc. I waited for 2 more weeks and then called the recruiter for updates. The recruiter never bothers to attend calls/update the candidate on time (Got to hear this from other candidates too) The recruiter called me to inform that 2 more rounds needs to be taken, I sincerely agreed to the same and got my interviews scheduled (2 more weeks again) My performance was above average in both the rounds(6th and 7th) So yes after 7 rounds I waited for the recruiter to update me for another week and I called him after that(today 4th July 2022) As usual, there was no response! I got a mail with subject "Following up on your recent application to Google" The first line said it all - "Thanks so much for interviewing with us" It was very very disheartening. Thank you to all those who could read my review, I just wish someday this can be voiced to the higher-ups at Google so that no applicant may have to face this.
