Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. Acudí a una entrevista en Google
Entrevista
Went through via a referral, took a few weeks for the phone screen, there was confusion about the role that I had applied for but following that an initial interview and subsequent panel interview scheduling took place fairly quickly. The interviewers were on time, friendly and professional and questions were reasonable. About a week later I was scheduled to speak to the hiring manager (even though the hiring committee would have been the next step per the process). In that 30min call the hiring manager was 10min late and not aware of my notes and who I had interviewed with to date, so time was limited. The recruiter also did not make it clear what the format of this call would be. Following the HM call I was told I would be hearing on the next steps. A week later was told that there were other candidates to go through before a final decision within next 2 weeks. 2 weeks passed and no update so I followed up, the recruiter confirmed that there were still no updates at this time and would reach out when there was one. A further 3 weeks passed so I emailed for a status again, only to be asked why I am reaching out as it was made clear the last time we spoke that my candidacy was not going ahead, this is not what happened. Clear communication should be a basic expectation of any interview process and this did not take place, which was disappointing from a company like Google.

The interview scheduling was long and had multiple cancellations throughout the process, causing a delay and misalignment in expectations. The interviewer was not prepared/informed on what questions to ask which was really disappointing, especially considering company like Google.

why you want to be a program manager at google
3 rounds of interview, excluding HR screening. Each interview have about 4 - 6 qns, testing past examples from your work experience, as well as how you may solve future hypothetical problems. You have to be prepared for role-related questions.
