Involved a lot of theoretical questions that really test your level of knowledge of the fundamentals of programming and especially data structures and algorithms. Most questions are managable if you have a fair understanding of all fundamental concepts in data structures and algorithms and systems engineering.
The interview was conducted as a technical DSA round for an SDE-2 role. The interviewer started by explaining the problem and expectations, then gave time to think and discuss the approach. The focus was not only on arriving at the solution but also on explaining the thought process, assumptions, and optimizations. The interviewer was interactive and encouraged discussion and clarification during problem-solving.
