The process is considered standard in industry. Most company interviews last between 4 to 8+ hours which include a meal (lunch or dinner, or sometimes both). This interview lasted a half day with 1:1 meetings. You get a feel for the different interviewer's demeanor since finding the right fit is an important aspect of their selection criteria. However, "personality" is a subjective term so the candidate selection process could drag on forever. (You won't know all the nuances of what a successful personality match is up front) They seemed nice, yet nice doesn't always lead to a job offer. But in the short time I spent, I would certainly accept an offer (if one is made, even though a sense of urgency to fill the role did not seem present during the interview) because the interactions seemed fluid and they seemed like a group that you could work with. Considering some of the other reviews, it appears that this company's follow-up if you aren't selected is pretty deplorable, so a realistic prediction of outcome of this encounter is undeterminable. I just hope that I get feedback or a reasonable offer.

First round was talent acquisition phone call followed by interview with hiring manager and members of the team. Second round was full panel interview beginning with a presentation. All interviews via Zoom.
