A1: The recruiter was not happy with my response when I mentioned that in my past experience, field notes are avoided due to discovery and compliance risk. This is different from pre-set drop down selections where AI is not applicable. Fine if Genentech is capturing field notes and wants to take that risk. But why would the recruiter be surprised if someone raises compliance implications? Q2: I see you are a board member and president of a non-profit; how will that impact this position you are applying for? A2: let me clarify - I am a part of a foundation donating my time and skills for free. You all should be proud to have a person who is giving back as a part of the team. Do you not think that there are many others at the company who are not part of community non profits or civic organizations?
