One of Gem's recruiters reached out to me directly an we quickly scheduled a phone screen. She was able to give me plenty of info and helped schedule the followup interviews. From there, I had a call with the VP of Customer Success, a mock business review and several 1:1 interviews over two days.
The team was responsive and flexible, and worked with me to speed up the process since I was also interviewing with a few other companies at the same time.

How do you do discovery with new and existing customers?

Entrevista
The interview process was pretty straightforward and I had a wonderful experience.
I had:
-A call with the recruiter
-A zoom call with the team lead
-A zoom mock business review
-A zoom call with a few different members of the team
-Then an offer (that I accepted)
A few things that stood out to me:
1. Everyone was very humble and nice
2. The people who work here are SUPER smart A-player professionals
3. The customers love the product and this company is a ROCKET SHIP
Comp package:
As with all job offers, I tried to negotiate but they said there was no wiggle room. That said, I will say I got the sense that they put a lot of thought into the comp package and that it was above market rate. Benefits are also really good. They take really good care of you here.
Culture:
Unlike a lot of the other startups I interviewed with, Gem was very transparent with me (it’s one of their key cultural values).
I accepted the offer because the team is kind and the company is going places. If you’re smart and ambitious - this is THE place to work.

The interview consisted of a recruiter phone screen, then a call with the VP of Customer Success, before a mock business review and then 1:1 interviews which are scheduled over several days.
The recruiting team was very responsive in scheduling and coordinating interview dates and times.
