Over the phone interview due to COVID. Not ideal of course, but the interviewer was kind and made everything seem warm and friendly regardless of the strange situation. Over the phone also makes for an easy and convenient way of getting your name over to them. The main downside is that you cannot get a fully accurate read of someone over the phone and I feel this hurts their selection process.
- Usually 30–60 minutes.
- Evaluates:
- Technical skills (e.g., HR operations, Workday, case management)
- Problem‑solving
- How you handle real scenarios
- Communication style
- Expect behavioral questions like:
- “Tell me about a time you resolved a complex employee issue.”
- “How do you ensure accuracy in high‑volume tasks?”

Basic. Not prep required. It was a good experience and was put at ease quickly. All they want to check is that you can communicate well and that you have a demonstrated work ethic.

It was very easygoing, not too complicated questions from the employer. They did ask what would make me stand out as a salesperson and what I could bring to the table in sales .
