Mediocre, expectations was to complete a lot of unpaid work in advance if the interview to be prepared. Very old school way of thinking. Consider investing in people if they don't meet your exact set of qualifications you're looking for

Interview process consisted of behavioural questions and technical questions. Behavioural questions were typical questions like how do you solve challenges. Technical portion included python code review. I was asked design pattern questions and file reading for hardware modules.
