I interviewed as part of on-campus recruiting that is common for internships and entry level positions. It was very involved and included attending campus socials, on-campus 'meet the firms' professional events, 1st interviews, a pre- 2nd interview social, and a final (2nd) interview.
If you get through the 1st round of interviews, it really becomes a matter of matching personalities and looking for a good fit. You will spend more time at work with these people than you will your friends and family, so that is very important - for both parties involved.

It was an on campus placement interview, they mostly asked about my CV and personal achievements. Some questions were regarding basics of accounting like principles of accounting and treatment of depreciation and other items in all 3 statements.

5 rounds of interview - 1 HR, 2 technical, 1 Versant (english understanding and communication) & 1 Partner. Partner round can be technical or general depending upon your partner. Questions can range from "why audit" to core accounting and auditing questions

the interview was very conversational. entry level position is not technical at all but you should bring in experience anyways. didn’t get the position but interviewers seemed very laid back and were probably taking the interview from their phone
