Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en Deloitte (Bengaluru) en ago 2017
Entrevista
Tech background: JAVA/J2EE, 2.9 years Exp
The interview was conducted in 4 stages/rounds
1-Technical
2-Technical cum managerial
3-Versant
4-Managerial/Generic
5-HR (I was called 2.5 weeks after my scheduled interview date to discuss about the salary structure and joining location and other policies)
1- I was pretty impressed with the questions asked in the first round as I was expecting basic
questions/definitions related to Core Java /J2EE (as per couple of reviews on glassdoor).
I was asked to write mostly codes (All Core Java and 1-2 SQL) (paper scribbled) right from the start. There were very few questions on a couple of concepts related to JAVA.
They were mostly looking into your ability to code/write algos/approach.
2- The second technical round was mostly based on how you handle practical problems .
I was given a couple of practical scenarios
e.g:
a)You are asked to do a batch job but you have a time constraint. What approach or steps would you take to finish it within that specified time.
b) You are inside this room (indicating to the room I was sitting in then). How would express different things in this room in OOP concepts.
Also few basic questions on Spring was asked.
3- Versant Round- It was comparatively an easy round (atleast that's what I thought initially).
(Google for sample versant tests). But I got a shock when they told me that my score was at the borderline and they were yet to decide whether to put me through or not. I was surprised as I would rate myself 7-8/10 when it comes to speaking/fluency and also that round went pretty well. My advise would be practice a couple of tests online and then go for the interview.I didn't and that was a mistake on my part as there are couple of tricks to get through it easily.
4- Manegerial- They asked me about my project and my roles and responsibilities in it and also whether I am comfortable in working in new techs (Java based ofcourse).
Also a lot of generic questions were asked (e.g: How do you utilize your free time in office when you have less workload)
The only negative thing about the whole interview experience were the follow ups with the HR as they didn't answer to a single mail or call after the interview.
I also had a joining in Infy and hence requested them to respond with any confirmation.
I received the offer letter only after 3 weeks.
Duration of rounds (approx):
1- 1 hr 15 mins
2- 45 mins
4- 1/2 n hour

They postponed the interview 5 times and even when the interviewer showed up he came 10 minutes late and seemed absolutely uninterested to be there. Was reading off questions and was more focused on teying to catch me fail or say something wrong.
