I interviewed by my PI. I waited for a long time(2weeks) for him to schedule an interview for me. It was relatively easy. He asked about my background and experience on PCB design, simple engineering/math questions. He mostly talked about the project I would be involved in and ask if I would be interested. I was referred by a professor so I guess that's why it's so east interview.
