Basically felt like i was chasing down the HR interviewer all the time. Sent me an email right as the interview was supposed to start to tell me she couldn't make it... HR interview was pretty basic and short. Then had to chase her down for 2 weeks to schedule the second interview.... The second interview focused on your case study but felt like it was just an hour of intense grilling, with no real care to get to know your soft skills that are vital to being a good researcher. They "say" they want people from different backgrounds, but pretty sure they want people who have worked for large companies in the bay area.

The recruiter interview was very fast. She was direct, to the point, and did not smile once during the interview. The second interview with the hiring manager and role director was in depth and asked mostly behavioral questions relating to my previous experince.

Tell me a project where your research had direct impact on the outcomes for the stakeholders. They asked this twice, so prepare two stories.
The usual process, calls with hiring manager, task, team leads, and team fit. Most of it handled via email, all process remote, smooth although not the fastest one. Overall, all good.

Entrevista
The hiring process cosisted of 5 interviews including a round with a case stuty and presentation of own project (3rd round - 2 hours). The initial communication with the recruiter was very good. The experience with the pa el was the worst I ever had. The two male managers in the panel had a very negative approach. I was really surprised. Afterwards, I found out that a colleague of mine had the same experience with the same guys 2 years before. It is really unacceptable considering the time that we are requested to invest. In the end, I didn t even receive feedback and I had to email the recruiter and the hiring manager 4 times to receive a generic rejection email.
