We are seeking an experienced Web Software Engineer with a background in modern cloud and IoT platform development. Key Responsibilities:

• Feature Development: Building, testing, and deploying new web features and end-to-end user experiences independently.
• Code Maintenance: Writing clean, well-documented, and efficient PHP code while refactoring existing systems for better performance.
• Database Management: Designing and maintaining database schemas (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and integrating various data storage solutions.
• API Integration: Developing and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs to connect server-side logic with frontend elements or third-party services.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshooting and debugging complex technical issues to ensure high application availability and responsiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement in software development practices, tools, and methodologies. 
• Participate with peer review processes on a regular basis for the purpose of knowledge sharing, training, quality control, and continuous improvement.
• Deliver value regularly through our continuous delivery pipeline.
• Be agile (scrum is our flavor)
• Be responsible and be an escalation point for Cloud issues.Qualifications and Key Competencies:

Essential Job Qualifications:

• Expertise with project / product management platforms such as JIRA, Asana, Monday, Confluence
• Ability to collaborate and lead cross-functional teams to research, design and implement new systems / services
• Technical knowledge relevant to the development team's area of expertise.
• Core Languages: Mastery of PHP 8.x (OOP, SOLID principles) and proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Frameworks: Deep expertise in Laravel, Symfony, or other MVC frameworks.
• Frontend Technologies: Strong understanding of JavaScript (Vue.js or React), HTML5, and CSS3 for seamless full-stack collaboration.
• DevOps & Tooling: Proficiency with Git, Docker for containerization, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
• Ability to work under little to no supervision
• Excellence in technical communications with both technical and non-technical peers.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability and desire to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding written and oral communication skills, and good organization skills.
• Expertise with test driven development (white box testing / black box testing / automated testing)
• Expertise with Pull Request / Gated release methodologies
• BS or MS with equivalent experience in CS, CE.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Expertise with Linux Operating System in various environments (virtualized, physical, containerized)
• Ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment.

Schedule:

• Hybrid
• Mondays and Fridays (Work from Home)
• Tuesdays to Thursdays (Onsite)
• Night shift: 8pm- 6am
• Additional every 2nd Friday rest day
