More than 50 years ago, on April 28th, the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) went into effect, promising every worker the right to do a safe job. On Friday, April 26th, POET hosted members of the community to come and honor those for National Workers Memorial Day. Today and every day, we honor and remember those who have been lost in the workforce. At POET, we promote a philosophy of “Work to Live.” Our teams work hard to make sure the workplace is a place of safety, and that people are able to go home to their loved ones at the end of each day.

This project included about 100 team members assisting in cleanup and maintenance projects at four parks: Nelson Park, Kuehn Park, Tuthill Park, and the River Greenway near Levitt at the Falls.
