This week, we're celebrating our staff retention rate which is 88.5% over 3 years. We think that's worth sharing because retention is one of the most honest signals of what it's actually like to work somewhere and we calculate the number over a 3 year period to give a clear picture of long term retention. That's what actually matters. In 2026 alone, that number sits at 95.14%. We're proud of both 🙌
Our Core Values are the backbone of how we operate in LevelUp. This week, we caught up with Abby to see which of the Core Values define her team the most. Check out the video to see what Abby has to say.
Starting a new job comes with a lot of unknowns. At LevelUp, we try to remove as many of those as possible. Here's what your first 90 days actually look like: Before you even start, our Operations and Client teams hold an internal sync to make sure everyone's aligned on your role and what success looks like. You're not walking into a room where nobody's prepared. In your first month, your Operations Manager checks in with you weekly, not just with the client you're working with, but with you. We're looking for small friction points (access issues, communication gaps, unclear expectations) before they quietly become bigger problems because we want to support you fully. After that, you move into a steady rhythm: regular support, monthly account health checks, and a team that's always reachable. We call it the Hyper-Care period. We call it that because we mean it. If you're looking for a place that takes onboarding seriously, we'd love to hear from you. 👋
One of the things we love about LevelUp is that connection doesn't stop at the screen. One of our team members, Abz, recently organised a small team hangout in the south of the Philippines and we're proud that this kind of thing stays optional and fully social. Just good people, fun and a chance to meet in person. Remote work doesn't have to mean isolated work. Check the video out to see what the hangout looked like.
Right now, we're hiring for the following roles across the team: - Copywriter - Accounts Receivable Specialist - Customer Success Specialist - Social Media Manager - Web Designer - SEO Manager - Sales Development Representatives This isn't hiring for the sake of it. LevelUp Manila is expanding and we need talented, motivated people who want to be part of something that's genuinely moving forward. Whether you're a wordsmith, a numbers person, a creative, or a digital strategist, there might be a seat here with your name on it. Take a look at our open roles and see if something fits. We'd love to hear from you.
5 years ago, one of our team mates, Ferbie, joined LevelUp coming from the chaos of freelance life where clients changed constantly, sleep schedules were non-existent, and every project meant learning a new stack from scratch. What made him stay? In his words: "Joining LevelUp brought order to my life. The set schedule helped greatly with my sleep and managing my time and I always know what's expected of me." He's also seen the company grow up around him. Early on, if something went wrong, you went straight to the top. Now there's a full HR team and IT support that turns around tickets almost immediately. Structure that actually works. That's 5 years of showing up, growing with us, and still finding reasons to stay. Here's to many more. 🎉
A small thing we care a lot about is communication during hiring. One thing we try to do differently at LevelUp is stay present during the hiring process. Job searches can be stressful, and it’s easy for candidates to feel like they’re sending applications into a black hole. So we try to keep things simple: 1. Answer questions when they come up 2. Keep candidates updated on timelines as much as possible 3. Make space for real conversations, not just forms and emails Not every process leads to a placement but everyone deserves clarity and respect along the way.
This leadership team annual meeting was more than setting goals for the year. We spent time understanding how we see the company operating and how we operate together as a team. There was space to share expectations, personal wins, and direct feedback. Some moments were uncomfortable. They were still necessary. Giving honest feedback face to face is not easy, but it builds trust in a way planning alone never does. That trust matters because these conversations do not stay in the room. They shape how we show up in our work and how decisions carry through into day-to-day execution. A behind-the-scenes look at our annual leadership team meeting.
How do you say Merry Christmas where you are?
💬 “It was one of the healthiest work environments I ever had, and not only did LevelUp help me get the opportunity but all communication was really smooth. Our collective experience through LevelUp is really awesome with the way you take care of the people and how things are processed.” This feedback came in recently from one of our team members and honestly, it stopped us in our tracks (in the best way). We know offshore hiring has a reputation problem. But we’re working every day to prove that it can be done differently with a people-first mindset that doesn’t just talk the talk. So when someone tells us their experience here is one of the healthiest they’ve had? That’s the kind of outcome we’re aiming for.
