As we wrap up National Volunteer Month, we reflect on our impactful day of service revitalizing Atlanta’s historic English Avenue neighborhood. ICE is proud to support the Westside Future Fund, a key player in connecting resources with needs, bringing the right people together and creating opportunities for Westside residents to benefit from Atlanta's growth and progress. A special thanks to Warrick Dunn, Warrick Dunn Charities and Warrick Dunn Communities for their collaboration, as well as Freddie the Falcon and the Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders for bringing the energy. It was also great to see so many youths from Atlanta Police Foundation's At-Promise center join us throughout the day. Our day of service illustrated the power of teamwork, underscoring our dedication to the revitalization of Atlanta's Westside and the welfare of its residents. In honor of Earth Day and National Volunteer Month, over 300 ICE employees came together with the Westside Future Fund, Warrick Dunn Charities, Inc., & Warrick Dunn Communities to join the redevelopment efforts of the Westside of Atlanta through an array of volunteer activities including tree planting, gardening, community clean up, kit assembly and senior home repair along the historic Westside’s James P. Brawley Corridor. The event concluded with a celebration of service and lunch with local residents where ICE Founder & CEO Jeff Sprecher spoke on what the opportunity to give back means to him: “For decades, the Atlanta community has served as an innovating and inspirational launching pad for many organizations, including ours – and ICE is honored to join forces with Westside residents to provide the resources needed to inspire continued success and impact.” Thanks to all of the ICE volunteers and their families and guests that attended!
