Ebenezer hired four nurse interns for a 10‑week paid experience across our Minnesota Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living communities. As rising senior RN students, they trained 1:1 with an Ebenezer RN—building hands‑on skills, experiencing wound care and hospice, and shadowing RN roles. They’ll return to finish degrees at Minnesota State College Southeast, North Hennepin Community College, Concordia University-St. Paul, and Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College. Thank you to our enthusiastic nurse preceptors at Aurora on France TCU, Martin Luther Care Center, and Pillars of Hermantown Senior Living. Best wishes to Shantae, Vanessa, Katelyn, and Lily—we look forward to welcoming you back as RNs at Ebenezer!
We’re honored to be ranked #13 on Argentum's list of the 150 Largest Providers! While this recognition reflects growth, what matters most to us is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults every day. It’s not about being the biggest—it’s about being present, compassionate, and purpose-driven in every community we serve. It's about making an impact. Thank you to our dedicated teams, trusted partners, and the families who place their confidence in us. We’re proud to walk beside you.
This past weekend, Ebenezer, The Pillars of Prospect Park Senior Living, and The Pillars Child Care were honored to participate in Pride — a celebration of love, inclusion, and the beautiful diversity of our communities. Everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and seen. Joining together to recognize Pride is one of the many ways we show our commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all. Thank you to everyone who joined in the celebration. Let’s continue building a culture of belonging and care.
We’re proud to share that Ebenezer has once again been named a Star Tribune Top Workplace—for the 16th year in a row! This honor belongs to the incredible team members who bring compassion, innovation, and integrity to senior living every day. Learn how we invest in our teams.
Amira Choice Champlin had the honor of hosting Senator John Hoffman this week for a legislative visit. Senator Hoffman took time to discuss potential budget cuts and caps to Medicaid, along with the growing gap between Elderly Waiver reimbursement and the real costs of care. Thank you to Senator Hoffman for championing the Human Services Policy Omnibus bill enacted in May, which clarified the role of LPNs in assisted living settings—an issue we raised during his visit last summer. We’re grateful for Senator Hoffman’s continued advocacy for older adults and the communities that support them.
Ebenezer Advocates for Seniors at LeadingAge Minnesota’s Day at the Capitol On March 19, Ebenezer joined LeadingAge Minnesota at the 2025 Day at the Capitol to advocate for the future of senior care in Minnesota. Held at the Fairview Community Health and Wellness Hub in St. Paul, this event brought together providers, caregivers, and advocates to meet with legislators and push for policies that support our aging population. Our team engaged in meaningful discussions with lawmakers, emphasizing the urgent need for funding, workforce solutions, and policies that strengthen senior living communities. With proposed budget cuts threatening essential services, we made it clear: Minnesota’s seniors deserve better. A huge thank you to everyone who attended shared their stories and stood up for those we serve. Advocacy does not stop here—let’s keep the momentum going!
We are thrilled to announce that 31 of our communities have been named among the Best Senior Living Communities for 2025! This represents a 48% increase in the number of Ebenezer communities that received this award last year. According to data from U.S. News & World Report, there are 927 senior living communities in Minnesota. U.S. News & World Report has rated 39 of these communities as best senior living communities. It's impressive to note that 29 of the 39 are Ebenezer owned or managed! From Independent Living and Assisted Living to Memory Care, our communities have earned top accolades in multiple categories, including Caregiving, Food & Dining, and Activities & Enrichment. These recognitions are based on resident satisfaction and reflect Ebenezer’s commitment to providing quality, person-centered care.
