A few of our incredible team members - Shaivi Tyagi, Manish Gupta and Darlene Rasmussen, SHRM-CP opened up about their personal journeys with mental wellness—sharing their struggles, their strength, and their bravery. It was a powerful reminder of how important it is to create a supportive space at work, where we can be vulnerable and find strength together. "Starting my career at 49 was something I never envisioned. Becoming a professional at this age with no prior work experience felt daunting, but I saw it as a chance to rediscover who I could be beyond a homemaker. For years, my world revolved around raising my children and managing our home. As they grew up, I found myself in a quieter chapter, searching for something meaningful. When the events and hospitality opportunity at Damco Solutions came my way, I hesitated, but I was more surprised that such a role even existed. It showed me that organizations like Damco truly value their people, fostering their well-being and recognizing the unique contributions each person can make, regardless of their career stage.
