This week marked an exciting milestone as we officially opened the doors to our new Frisco office and welcomed associates and summer interns into the space. More than 50 associates joined us in person for a welcome reception, connecting over small bites and hearing from local leaders as we began this next chapter together. As we settle into our new location, the space has been thoughtfully designed to support how our teams work best—whether independently, collaboratively, or coming together for group discussions. This move reflects a meaningful investment in enhancing the associate experience, with features that support collaboration, productivity, and associate well-being. With enhanced amenities, including additional conference rooms and day offices, We are confident this new environment will help our North Texas team continue to thrive.
This week, 35 talented students join us across Easton, Chadds Ford, Draper, Frisco, and New York for our 12-week summer internship experience. Running from May 18 through August 7, this program is all about giving students meaningful exposure to the financial services and fintech industry—while making a real impact on our business. We’re especially proud to have 4 returning interns back with us this summer—a testament to the strength of the experience and the connections built here. To our interns: we’re glad you’re here, and we can’t wait to see the ideas, energy, and curiosity you bring to Bread Financial. Welcome 2026 Summer Intern class to Bread Financial!
As part of Earth Month in India, associates came together for two impactful sustainability initiatives, focused on nature conservation and community impact. On Monday, April 20, volunteers collaborated with SayTrees, a non-profit organization in Bangalore focused on restoring green cover through community-driven efforts, to plant 2,000 saplings. This initiative aimed to combat deforestation and enhance urban greenery. The momentum continued on Wednesday, April 22, with a wildlife conservation project at Bannerghatta Biological Park in Bangalore, partnering with Upkriti. Volunteers contributed to critical infrastructure upgrades, including the installation of a cheetah habitat shelter and a solar power system for the Animal Rescue Centre, reinforcing its dedication to wildlife well-being and sustainable energy solutions. Over 50 volunteers actively participated in these initiatives, embodying a shared vision for a sustainable future.
Our multi‑site and virtual Associate Resource Group (ARG) membership drives last week strengthened the culture we are proud of at Bread Financial. Engagement matters, and our associates continue to lead the way.
Recently, our LivingWell team brought associates together for the Power Hour event at the Bangalore office, which included a series of short, high-energy sessions designed to spotlight everyday well-being in a fun and interactive way. These sessions emphasized the importance of incorporating small, intentional actions into daily routines to support physical and mental well-being.
In recognition of Women's History Month, our Women Connect ARG held a powerful panel discussion on confidence & career growth. The Women in Leadership panel was moderated by Allegra Driscoll, Chief Technology Officer at Bread Financial, featuring Kendall Coyne‑Schofield, U.S. Women’s Hockey Olympic gold medalist and Captain of the Minnesota Frost, Lisa Hinkelman, Ph.D., Founder and CEO of Ruling Our eXperiences, Inc. (ROX), and Joyce St. Clair, former Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Northern Trust Corporation and current Bread Financial board member. The discussion highlighted a powerful truth: confidence is practiced, shaped by experience, and strengthened through action. Hearing perspectives from an Olympian, a founder, and a board‑level executive gave our associates a multidimensional look at how confidence evolves across careers and life experiences. Their stories reinforced that leadership is less about having every answer and more about learning, adjusting, and showing up with intention.
Last Saturday was International Women's Day. In celebration, Bread Financial partnered with the Columbus Blue Jackets to host Girls Hockey Day and the 2nd Annual Women's Networking Event. The event brought together women from across the sports world for a day of empowerment, teamwork, and fun!
