Singapore's ACS family is growing. ACS Time Critical has joined the ACS and Travel Division teams at the office, marking an exciting new chapter for the region! To support the expansion, the Regional HR & Talent Acquisition Manager Ivy Chan flew in from Hong Kong to train our newly recruited HR team member, Eileen Tay, helping to ensure the growing operations scale brilliantly. To celebrate, the team gathered for dinner, drinks, and karaoke – covering songs in Bahasa, Cantonese, Chinese, Hokkien, Thai, Vietnamese, and English. It was a fitting celebration reflecting the diverse cultures and backgrounds that make the Singapore office such a special place to work!
Trading their desks for the court, ACS Shanghai took part in this year's AmCham corporate basketball tournament at NYU Shanghai – a highlight of the American Independence Day celebrations and one of the most hotly contested afternoons in the corporate calendar. The event drew a lively crowd of AmCham members and their families, alongside NYU students, making for a fantastic occasion. With ten teams battling it out, the competition was anything but a lay-up. Stepping up for ACS were Francis, Justin, and Jialu from PJets, Leon from CommJ, Wayne from Cargo, and Kevin from IT, with Wanny, Mia, and Julie bringing serious energy from the sidelines. The 10 teams that took to the court represented: 1 Air Charter Service 2 Dell 3 Google 4 IDFL 5 Microsoft 6 MSC 7 NBA China 8 NYU Shanghai 9 PwC 10 US Consulate A great day out – and proof that the ACS Shanghai team brings the same energy wherever they go. Earlier this week on Earth Day, our Brisbane and Sydney teams donated 521 pieces of clothing - supporting local communities while promoting reuse and reducing waste. The number 521 reflects a week of flight activity for our team - for every charter we operated, we donated one item of clothing. The Brisbane team donated to 'Community Friends', where people experiencing homelessness gather each Wednesday for food and essential supplies. Meanwhile, the Sydney team supported 'Pass It On Clothing', which provides clothing to those in need through outreach services across Greater Sydney. We hope these contributions offer practical support and make a positive difference within the local community! 🌏
