Ventajas

RICS is a global company with enormous reach. It has great potential to speak on a wide variety of issues of great relevance to an extensive network of stakeholders. The global network ensures it is increasingly relevant in global markets.

Desventajas

RICS' internal structure is fundamentally flawed for a global organisation. It takes a 'colonialist' approach to its operations - what works in the UK will work in the rest of the world and little adaptation is allowed.

Flexible Remote work Non problematic Colleagues and managers were kind and helpful

UK team would take their time to respond to our regional team delaying our time management and projects Not very easy to grow in the company

Ventajas

Exposure to high level professionals in the property profession, annual professional development course, and good benefits package.

Desventajas

The local office leadership is lacking in a way that is detrimental to the success of the organization. There's a lack of direction, death by meetings - which usually ends with no further action being taken, the Managing Director's ego is inflated and he has yet to deliver on annual membership acquisition goals, male-centric US office environment, blatant bias, and a lack of transparency. Management is secretive and shady. Outdated software and poor technical support.
