I was just laid off after 3 years with the company due to a “restructuring.” While I understand these things are necessary from a business perspective, I was informed on a Friday morning about my upcoming severance (in good standing), and my access to all company information, including access to the team I led was shut down. Immediately. ABM boasts that it is a “people” company, however this tactic is cruel and very hurtful. Just a week prior I asked my supervisor about my performance and she said it was great. I’m very disappointed with the integrity of the leadership at ABM.
