Human requirement process, really polite people. First interview with hiring manager, a senior one, than the direct session with the eventual feature manager, last session for feedback with the hiring manager

Just a screening call with a recruiter going over my background. I explained 2 projects I worked on(a batch-processed scala/spark pipeline, and a rdbms to data warehouse sql pipeline). The interviewer proceeded to tell me I was not a data engineer. V dismissive vibe, hadn't experienced that in any other interview.
