Phone interview asking about availability and break down of work in specific stores and locations. Was asked questions about possessing method of transportation and insurance and pay rate. Discussed previous work experience and POGs.

It asked and answered my work history. Had to prove I could lift and stack 50 lb totes. Did I have any experience? I explained my experience as both a merchandiser and a retail merchandiser. I was told that there were two other candidates being considered and he would let me know. I was called the next day to start work and have been there ever since.

I met with the district manager at the McDonald's located at one of the Walmarts that needed to be covered. She asked me about my experience with retail and merchandising. She asked me if I had any questions. After that, she took me on a tour of the areas that I would be responsible for. During this time, she gave me a brief overview of the things that I would be responsible for as well as to what the company expectations were for their employees. At the end of the interview, she asked me if the job sounded like something that I wanted to do. I said yes. She told me that she would send me an email with the hiring information. From there I completed the forms. After that, I waited for two weeks before she scheduled me to begin training. Training was for a few weeks with an employee who never seemed to be able to stay long enough to finish a store. She would send me home and tell me she would finish it up later. After the training, I still had to learn a lot of things on my own.
