The selection procedure commenced with a preliminary phone screening conducted by the recruiter, leading to a one-hour interview with the hiring manager. Subsequently, the four individual 45-minute interviews with various team members to assess the suitability for the position. The interview with the Hiring Manager was short and professional. The issue began with the subsequent interviews. The two interviews lasted over an hour, one was on time, and the final interview with the Director was quite unprofessional. He turned off his camera for the duration of the interview and conducted it over the phone while traveling with his family. He was completely unmindful during the conversation, requiring me to repeat myself several times. The decision-making process dragged on for two months, and the recruiter kept checking in with me to see if I was pursuing any other opportunities in the meantime. I also received the hiring manager's e-mail, mentioning that I am one of the strong contenders and that things will be finalized soon, which was extended to five weeks with follow-ups. The recruiter also sought my documents to keep me engaged. Followed up with the recruiter, no response. Contacted the hiring manager, and got an automated rejection email the next day. Disappointed by the inhumane behavior of a reputed ethical company. As we exchanged conversations for 2 months, I at least expected a human response. The next day, the recruiter asked if I am still looking for a job as they can offer other roles. Unsure about trusting them again.
