Terrible. This company is so severely unorganized and to this day does not have the courage to let me know I didn't get a position. Just say it!
They flew me out for an in-person interview after a phone screen and phone interview went really well. The in-person interview was, hands down, one of the best experiences I have had.
Now the sucky part. I interviewed in mid-June and was told a decision would be reached by the end of the month. Before end of month comes, I interview with VP of department over the phone after my in-person interview, which felt even more promising. He tells me he is confident someone will reach out to me within a week.
End of month comes around, and when I reach out, I'm told that they are trying to schedule a final phone interview with upper management and he's super busy so it's difficult. I wait 3 weeks and they STILL do not manage to schedule 30 measly minutes (or, hell, even 15 would do it) for me to speak to the guy.
I email again for a status update. Now they notify me that the position's requirements are being reassessed and that this may in turn lead to two separate positions. Great! I think. Higher likelihood I may be able to get something. I'm told that they will keep me posted on what happens.
I wait 3 more weeks, ask for another status update, and am NOW told that they are STILL in the process of interviewing. IN AUGUST.
I give up, Nlight. Why do you so unprofessionally flip-flop on next steps? I could have (and HAVE, as a matter of fact) secured and completed probationary period for a job during your ridiculously long decision-making process.
Don't bother with these people.
