Phone interview with agency recruiter - asked basic questions, had difficulty answering more than half of my questions, spent more time talking/selling than assessing my qualifications and experience 2. Phone interview with hiring manager - gave me good insight into the role, good communicator, seems like he could be a great boss I followed up after the second call and an in-person interview appeared to be the next step. The recruiter said she'd call with feedback. She never called. I checked in 2 weeks later and she never returned my message. I understand that she represents a third party, but these days candidate experience is so paramount and she dropped the ball for both herself and the company. A quick e-mail would have been sufficient.
