Submitted my resume through a former colleague. Had several email exchanges to set up the interview and was provided a list of my interviewees. The experience was pleasant, brief, and formal. I had been warned that the hiring manager was looking for someone with very technical background. During the interview, this did not prove out (the hiring manager was not one of the first round interviewees). But it did eventually show to be the case as I was told this again by the hiring manager.
